  • Single-Site Accounts: If you have one venue, your account has just the Venue and Device levels.
  • Multi-Site Accounts: Groups can have Brand and Enterprise levels above their venues.

Viewing Your Structure

  • My Account: Click your name in the bottom left corner of the backoffice and select My Account. The page lists your Brands, Venues and Devices, with each device's Device ID, venue, billing period and status.
  • What You Can See: What you see depends on the level your user is added to. Users at the top level see the entire account, including every brand and venue. Brand-level users only see the venues and devices under their brand, and venue-level users only see their own venue's devices.

Shared and Local Items

  • Shared Items: Products and categories created in the backoffice can be shared with several devices. On the device they show a padlock symbol and can't be edited there; changes are made in the backoffice and update everywhere.
  • Local Items: Products created on a device are local to that device, and Super Users and Managers can edit them on the device. In the backoffice, on-device product names show in blue and global product names in dark text, as shown in the Key on each category page. To turn an on-device product into a global one, tick it, click Update 1 item, then Make Global. A global product stays editable on the device if it's only assigned to one device; once it's on more than one, it's locked there and can only be edited in the backoffice.
  • Which Devices: Each product page in the backoffice lists the devices its category is shown on.

Features Managed Higher Up

  • Settings: Backoffice settings apply to all devices below the level they're set at.
  • Storage Rule Groups: Shared storage rules can be applied to several devices. See Storage Locations On Backoffice.
  • Labl.it Tools: Tools such as the Menu Analyser are available at the top level of your account.

By understanding your account hierarchy, you can decide what to manage centrally and what each site manages itself.
