Integration: Trail App

Using Trail's API, you can link your Trail account to the expiry report on a Labl.it device for cross-platform reporting

1. Get Your Trail API Key

  1. Log in to trailapp.com.
  2. Click your Company Name → Company Settings.
  3. Scroll to Trail APIs and click Copy next to the API Key.

2. Find Your Trail Template ID

  1. Go to Tasks → My Tasks.
  2. Open your Expiry Report task.
  3. Copy the 6-digit ID found in the URL of your web browser.

3. Get Your Trail Site ID

  1. Click your Company Name → Site Settings.
  2. Copy the 5-digit Site ID shown.

4. Enter Details in Labl.it Backoffice

  1. Open Labl.it Backoffice → Devices.
  2. Select the device used for expiry exporting.
  3. Open Expiry Report API Export (Trail) and click the ⋮ edit icon.
  4. Paste in:
    • API Key
    • Template ID
    • Site ID
  5. Click Save.

Your Trail integration is now active and Labl.it Backoffice will automatically pull your Expiry Report data.
