Solution - Lid Check

One solution could be related to the lid of the device. This guide should help identify the issue.

Sometimes the lid can pop of it's hinges and it is simply a case of replacing the lid back on the hinges.

Before you replace the lid you need to check two things.

1. The orange lid is without damage and the two circular recesses are clear.

2. Check that neither of the outward facing pegs on the hinge bracket have snapped off.

If both parts are undamaged you can simply replace the lid yourself. Please follow the guide below on how to do that.

First of all line up the spring on the hinge so that the peg of the orange lid sits inside it.

Next simply hook the lid over one of the black pegs and bend the lid slightly to hook it over the other side.

If you are unable to fit the lid back on, or if the outward facing pegs in the second picture are broken, we will need to arrange a replacement device.

However, if there is damage to the lid, as seen in the first picture, we can send a replacement to you without needing to replace the entire device.

It's worth noting that sometimes the hinge can pop out of its socket if the device is dropped from a height.

If this is the issue, it is unfortunately something that needs to be repaired at our repair facility and we will provide you with a replacement device.
